EUGENE, Ore. - Ottawa University thrower, Jacob Ludwick, competed at the 2022 USATF U20 Championships at Hayward Field on Saturday afternoon in the javelin
Ludwick, who is a freshman from Clay Center, Kan., followed his NAIA All-American throw of 199-9 at the NAIA National Championships in May with a toss of 190-02 to place fifth at the meet. He opened the USATF U20 Championship with a throw of 182-05 and followed that with his fifth place toss of 190-02 in his second attempt of the day.
It was Ludwick's seventh top five finish and he ended the season throwing over 190 feet in his last three competitions. He was an All-KCAC performer in the javelin, placing third at the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a throw of 164-10.
