- Ottawa has bowled at Mid-States every season in program history. The men had their best finish last season, finishing eighth. The women's best finish came in 2021, where they tied for seventh in qualifying.Â
- In last year's tournament, the menÂ
qualified for the bracket wich a qualifying total of 10,044, good for eighth place. The Braves matched up with Wichita State in the first round, which would be the end of the road.
- Last season, the women qualified for the bracket as the seven seed with a 8889 total. The Braves upset the second-seeded Mount Mercy in the quarterfinals before falling to eventual tournament winners Oklahoma Christian in the semifinals.
- Both tournaments tournament centers are under new ownership this season. Men's host Bowlero Northrock was formerly North Rock Lanes, and Bowlero Northridge, the women's host, was previously known as West Acres Bowling Center.
