OTTAWA, KAN. - The Ottawa bowling teams finish up their first semester slate at the Columbia Cougar Clash in Columbia this weekend.
- The Braves' last outing came three weeks ago at the NAIABCA Invitational. The men finished 12th on day one, fifth on day two, and finished runners up in the matchplay bracket on Sunday, beating William Penn 4-2 the quarterfinals and Saint Xavier 4-3 in the semifinals before falling to SCAD Savannah 2-4 in the championship match.
- The women finished second on day one and seventh on day two. Gerilynn Delegarito made the All-Tournament Team in fifth place with a 993 pinfall for five games. They qualified fifth for Sunday's matchplay bracket, beating Missouri Baptist 4-2 in the quarterfinals before dropping the semifinals 3-4 to McPherson.
- This will be Ottawa's first appearance at the Columbia Cougar Clash.
- Just four team games will be bowled on Saturday, and the matchplay bracket will feature only the top four teams, the smallest of the season.
- The tournament will feature eight varsity teams on the women's side and nine on the men's.
