The Braves are on a four game winning streak with a sweep of Northwestern College last weekend at Alumni Park. In the series, Ottawa hit .300, scored 35 runs, hit six doubles, one triple, four home runs, drove in 30 runs, had a .500 slugging percentage, walked 18 times, was hit by a pitch 11 times, struck out 22 times, had a .450 on base percentage, and was 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts. The OU pitching staff had a 2.57 ERA, striking out 17 in 28 innings. Northwestern hit .198 against the Braves.
Brandon Kelley had a good series against the Red Raiders. The sophomore hit .750 (6-for-8), drove in six, hit his first varsity home run, had a 1.250 slugging percentage, and a .800 on base percentage.
