Box Score FREMONT, Neb. -- The (RV)Ottawa University men's lacrosse team delivered an impressive performance and secured a commanding victory over Midland with a final score of 18-2 at Heedum Field in Fremont, Nebraska on Monday evening.
From the very start of the game, Ottawa showed their offensive prowess, with Dakota Lepker scoring the first goal assisted by Robert Roseberry. Midland quickly responded with a goal from Joshua Pereira, but Ottawa's relentless attack continued with Luke Spells and Ethan NewMyer adding goals in quick succession. Vincent DeMarco, Reid McDowell, and Robert Roseberry also found the back of the net in the first period, giving Ottawa a 4-1 lead.
In the second period, Ottawa continued to dominate with goals from Reid McDowell, Vincent DeMarco, Robert Roseberry, and Ethan NewMyer, extending their lead to 8-1. Ottawa's offensive onslaught continued in the third period with goals from Jake Noernberg, Ethan NewMyer, and Vincent DeMarco, who completed a hat-trick. Ottawa's defense was also solid, preventing Midland from gaining any ground on the scoreboard.
The final period saw Ottawa's offense continuing to fire on all cylinders, with goals from David Wiley, Reid McDowell, Dakota Lepker, and Braydon Francis, securing a resounding 18-2 victory for the Ottawa team.
