The Braves have a record of 2-1 against Oklahoma Wesleyan at the KCAC Tournament and OU has won its last two KCAC Tournament match ups with the Eagles. In his first start since April 1 due to an injury, Bryant had a 0.00 ERA, striking out nine in six innings. He only allowed three hits and Bethany College hit .143 against him.

Wednesday is the 27th meeting between Ottawa University and Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The Eagles lead the series, 16-11, but OU has a record 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and the Braves took the season series, 2-1. Ottawa won game one, 4-3, fell in game two, 12-1, but rebounded to take game three, 6-1 in Bartlesville on March 17. The first meeting ever between the two teams was in 1999. Ottawa won the game, 15-4.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University has an overall record of 36-14, a KCAC mark of 22-11, they are on a four game winning streak, and are receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll. After fall to McPherson 5-3, the Eagles have won four straight games with victories over Southwestern College (16-4), Sterling College (22-1 | 12-1 | 6-1).
