Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's lacrosse team opens the 2024 season with an away trip to Marshall, Missouri for a game against Missouri Valley.

• The Braves are coming off an 8-5 season, which ended with a loss to Columbia in the KCAC Tournament championship. Ottawa were the KCAC regular season champions.
• Notable returners for Ottawa include KCAC First-Teamers Vincent DeMarco, Joshua Curving, Luke Spells, Jacob Vincentini, and KCAC Second-Teamer Reid McDowell. DeMarco was also the KCAC Offensive Player of the Year and a Second-Team NAIA All-American.
• Missouri Valley has played one game this season, a 1-11 road loss against Saint Mary. Carson Willey scored the lone goal for the Vikings, assisted by Alvaro Atienza.
• This is the tenth meeting between Ottawa and Missouri Valley. After the Vikings won the first six meetings, the Braves countered with wins in each of the last three games. Last season's game was a 21-7 home win for Ottawa.
