(23) Softball Plays Host to McPherson on Saturday

Ottawa is on a three game winning streak after sweeping (RV) Friends University 7-1 and 8-6 on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Park. The Braves had a .308 batting average, hit three doubles, drove in 14 runs, had a .365 slugging percentage, walked nine times, was hit by a pitch once, struck out 12 times, had a .413 on base percentage, and was 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts.

Through 26 games this season, OU has a .307 batting average, a .388 on base percentage, and a .443 slugging percentage. The Braves have hit 14 home runs and scored 163 runs.

OU head coach, Jay Kahnt, is four wins away from no. 600. He has an overall record of 596-412. Kahnt will be the first coach OU athletic coach to reach the 600 win milestone.

Addison Spencer leads OU in batting average (.398) through 26 games this season. Katie Enneking is the Braves' leader in RBI (27). Ashlynn Mercer leads the team in ERA (1.64) and strike outs (37).

Alexandrea Garcia leads McPherson in batting average (.538), Rowdy New is MC's leader in RBI (19), and Jordyn Johnson leads the team in ERA (2.64) and strike outs (52).

In McPherson's eight road games this season, the Bulldogs have a .407 batting average, a .447 on base percentage, and a .553 slugging percentage.
