(23) Softball is on the Road at Avila on Wednesday

The Braves swept Bethel College last Saturday at Alumni Park. OU took game one, 4-2, and won game two, 5-0. Ottawa hit .288 in the double header, outscoring the Threshers 9-2. Ottawa had a .404 slugging percentage, struck out 11 times, had a .356 on base percentage, and was 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. The Ottawa pitching staff finished the double header with a 1.00 ERA, striking out five. Bethel had a .133 batting average.

Through 36 games this season, Ottawa has a .297 batting average, a .375 on base percentage, and a .429 slugging percentage. OU has hit 18 home runs and scored 212 runs.

Ottawa has a road record of 7-5 and is 3-1 in KCAC road contests this season. The Braves have a .255 batting average, are outscoring opponents 47-30, have a .368 slugging percentage, walked 27 times, struck out 75 times, had a .310 on base percentage, and are 20-for-21 in stolen base attempts.
