Reagan Hammons set a new school record for single season home runs in game one yesterday against Southwestern College. She hit her 13th home run of the season in the bottom of the second inning. With Hammons' 10 RBI in the double header against SWC, she broke the OU single season record for RBI. She now has 55.
Ottawa has a record of 36-36 against Bethany College. The two teams split the double header last season on April 19, 2023 in Ottawa. Bethany took game one, in eight innings 4-3. The Braves won game two, 2-1. Neither team has swept a double header in Lindsborg since April 21, 2012. Bethany won game one, 7-1 and game two, 2-1. The last time OU took two from Bethany in Lindsborg was on April 21, 2010. OU won game one, 7-3, and took game two, 5-4. The first meeting between the two teams was at the KCAC Round Robin Tournament on April 13, 1996. Bethany won the game, 15-5.
