SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Ottawa University baseball team split with Our Lady of the Lake University on Saturday afternoon. Ottawa took game one, 8-0 but fell 6-1 in game two.
Game 1
Ottawa broke the 0-0 tie in the top of the third. 
Blaine Thomas doubled to center field. 
Jackson Alaniz scored him with a single to left and OU led 1-0. 
Cole Broughton hit an infield single and moved 
Jaquavius Davis, who was in as a courtesy runner for Alaniz, to third. 
Dylan Garcia scored Davis, giving the Braves a 2-0 lead. 
Johnny Vulcano's single to left scored Broughton and OU led 3-0.
The Braves pushed five runs across home plate in the top of the fifth inning. 
Marcellus Pearson singled, Vulcano reached on an error, and 
Anthony Soria walked to load the bases for the Braves. 
Tyler Farnham's single to center scored Pearson, giving Ottawa a 4-0 lead. Thomas followed that with a single of her own, scoring Vulcano and Soria to increase the Brave lead to 6-0. Ottawa scored its final two runs of the inning on a Broughton double and the Braves led 8-0.
The Saints only had three reach base in their final three at bats and the Braves took the 8-0 victory.
Inside the Box Score
	- Cole Broughton had three hits in four at bats. He scored a run and drove in two.
- Blaine Thomas was 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs.
- Diego Quinonez seven innings, for the complete game victory. He struck out two and only allowed three hits.
Game Two
The Saints took a 1-0 lead over the Braves with a run in the bottom of the fourth inning. OLLU increased its lead with three runs in the fifth and two in the eighth, taking a 6-0 lead.
In the top of the ninth, Ottawa cut into the deficit. 
Marcellus Pearson reached first on an infield single and moved to second on a passed ball. A single to right from 
Nicholas Sizemore put Pearson 90 feet from home. 
Anthony Soria scored Pearson and the Braves were within 6-1. That is all the closer OU would get as OLLU took the game, 6-1.
