DES MOINES, Iowa – The Ottawa University cheerleading team finished eighth at the Viking Challenge on Sunday afternoon.
The Braves competed in two duals at the challenge. Ottawa fell to Clarke University 53.20-47.85 and Baker University 67.45-47.60.
The final overall score was the combination of the two scores from the dual. Ottawa finished the event with an overall score of 95.45 to place eighth.
St. Ambrose University was the event with a score of 186.15, Grand View University earned a finish of second with a score of 167.35, and Midland University rounds out the top three with a score of 165.1.
Ottawa is back in action on Friday, Jan. 31 in Salina, Kan. against Kansas Wesleyan University.
