LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The Ottawa University cheerleading team finished fourth at the 2025 KCAC Cheerleading Championships at the Ryan Sport Center on the campus of the University of Saint Mary.
The Braves finished prelims with a point total of 16.95. Ottawa earned a score of 51.42 in the finals to finish with a point total of 68.37.
In first was the University of Saint Mary, finishing the competition with a score of 86.70. Friends University placed second with a score of 80.73. Rounding out the top three was Avila University. The Eagles finished third with a score of 72.26.
In fourth was Ottawa (68.37), fifth place Sterling College (60.13), sixth place Bethel College (57.98), seventh place Kansas Wesleyan University (55.98), and eighth place was York University (50.92)
