OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa men's and women's bowling teams begin their 2025-26 campaigns at the Mid-States Championships in Wichita this weekend.

• The Braves return seven men from last season while adding eleven to that squad.
• The Ottawa women return thirteen from last season, adding three newcomers.
• Two 2025 All-KCAC selections return to the men's side: Tre Preston and Joseph Enderle.
• The women also return two 2025 All-KCAC selections: Gerilynn Delegarito and Holly Bridges.
• The Ottawa men are coming off a season that featured two tournament wins and a third place finish in the KCAC Tournament.
• The Ottawa women won one tournament last season and finished runners-up at the KCAC Tournament.
• Ottawa has competed at the Mid-States Championships every season as a program. The men's team's best finish came in 2022, finishing eighth. The women's highest finish was in 2023, qualifying for the matchplay bracket in sixth place and finishing third there.
• Last season, the Ottawa men finished 14th with a 8,521 pin total across six traditional games and 16 baker games. Matthew Berg led the way, finishing in 19th place individually.
• The Ottawa women finished ninth last season, posting a 5,275 total for six traditional games and 16 baker games. Jadyn Barr finished 9th place individually, Holly Bridges faced 12th.
• This tournament is the first of ten weekends for the Braves, and the first of four Tier I events. Four states feature on Ottawa's schedule, with Kansas being the most common. Half of the Braves' schedule will play out within the confines of the Sunflower State.
