Men's Basketball is on the Road at Washburn in an Exhibition Contest

Ottawa has an overall record of 5-3 and a KCAC mark of 2-1. Ottawa is 4-0 on the road this season. 

The Braves enter Saturday's game coming off an 84-69 loss to McPherson College in Wilson Field House on Nov. 22. Ottawa shot 39.7 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 81 percent from the free throw line.

Washburn University has an overall record of 7-0 to start the 2025-26 season. The Ichabods are ranked no. 2 in the latest NCAA Division II poll. WU enters Saturday's game coming off a 105-51 victory over Friends University on Tuesday in Lee Arena. 

Jack Bachelor leads the team in scoring (17.4), Dillon Claussen is WU's leader in rebounding (7.3), Bachelor leads Washburn in assists (5), Tyson Ruud is the Ichabods leader in blocks (1.1), and Jeremiah Jones leads WU in steals (1.1). 

Washburn has won 18 straight games inside of Lee Arena. WU's last home loss came on March 2, 2024 against Emporia State University. The Ichabods went 16-0 at home last season and are 2-0 in 2025-26.

The Ichabods are ranked 27th in the NAIA scoring (93.3), 17th in assists/turnover radio (1.6), 45th in blocks per game (4.3), and 18th in opponent field goal percentage (.373).
