Women's Bowling Earns Top-25 Finish at Hoosier Classic

Indianapolis, IND. - The Ottawa women's bowling team finished up their regular season at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis.

The Braves opened the tournament on Saturday with a 4,477 pinfall for five team games. Gerilynn Delegarito led Ottawa with a 990 pinfall for five games, putting her in 51st individually. On Sunday, Ottawa has 15 baker game total of 3,016, giving them an overall total of 7,493, good for 25th place.

Coach Poston's Thoughts
"We made a lot of mistakes on Saturday. Proud of the way they turned it around Sunday and had one of the top 15 game baker sets of the entire day. Sunday was the best we have bowled in baker all season. That energy and momentum needs to carry us into our biggest tournament of the season Saturday. I think it will."
