Women's Bowling Finishes Season at USBC ISC & ITC Sectionals

Fort Worth, TEXAS - The Ottawa women's bowling team completed their season at the USBC ISC and ITC Sectionals.

The ISC Sectionals was held on Friday, a full individual tournament consisting of six games. Haylee Busch led Ottawa bowlers with a 1,158 pin total, putting her in 41st place.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Braves competed in the ITC Sectionals. They ended Saturday in 12th place with a 5,608 pinfall for 32 games. A 6,056 total for Sunday's 32 games earned Ottawa an eighth place finish.

Coach Poston's Thoughts
"The ladies got off to a slow start on Saturday. They were one of the top teams on Sunday. Moving up five spots in the standings. Unfortunately, they had dug themselves too deep of a hole to factor into the final standings. We will lose one of the best players that has ever come through our program in Jadyn Barr. All of our ladies are going to have to put in the work this off-season and come back in the fall ready to compete. It will be fun to see how we return next season paired with our very talented incoming class. I think we have a chance to be really good."

Ottawa finishes the season with one tournament win and three All-KCAC selections.
