Box Score OTTAWA, Kan. – The (21) Ottawa University baseball team took game three of its series with McPherson College, 5-2, on Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Park.
McPherson struck first, taking a 1-0 lead over the Braves in the top of the first inning. Ottawa took the lead in the bottom of the third.

Shaun Gomez, Jr. hit a home run over the left field fence and OU had a 2-1 lead.
Ottawa extended its lead in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Jaquavius Davis doubled down the left field line.
Branden Franz singled, scoring Davis and OU had a 3-1 lead.
In the fifth McPherson cut into the Brave lead with a run, 3-2. Ottawa earned that run back in the bottom of the fifth with a home run to right by Garcia, 4-2.
The Braves increased their lead over the Bulldogs in the bottom of the seventh. Gomez hit his second home run of the game and Ottawa led 5-2.
Zack Melendez pitched a scoreless eighth and Cameron Sistruck earned hits fourth save of the season with a scoreless ninth to give OU the 5-2 victory.
