KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2024-2025 NAIA Scholar Teams as a part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day on Monday.

Ottawa University has 21 teams named a NAIA Scholar Team. It was the fourth straight year that OU had 19 or more teams named to the list. Those teams are softball, women's basketball, women's tennis, men's soccer, men's tennis, women's soccer, women's wrestling, women's golf, women's lacrosse, women's bowling, women's outdoor track and field, men's volleyball, women's beach volleyball, men's bowling, women's indoor track and field, women's volleyball, cheerleading, men's basketball, baseball, women's wrestling, and dance.

For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
