OTTAWA, Kan. – The #11 Ottawa women's wrestling team finished the regular season at the Jimmy May Open on Sunday in Baldwin City.
Sydnee Baldwin secured third place in the 110lb weight class, Baldwin won four matches at the Open. Alejandra Mezana placed fourth in the 110lb weight division, Mezana won four matches before falling in the third place match.
Peyton Hand secured third place in the 124lb weight division, Hand went 5-1 on the day.
Siara Arrington placed fourth overall in the 180lb weight class, Arrington took down five opponents.
In the 207lb weight division,
KyLee Lindsley earned second place and won three matches before coming up short in the championship.
Faith Spicer finished fourth overall in the 207lb as well.
