OTTAWA, Kan. – Ottawa University men's volleyball player,
Quentin Le Dortz, has been named Heart Setter of the Week.
Le Dortz, a graduate student from Torce, France, had 143 assists, seven kills, 27 digs, and four blocks in three matches last week. Running OU's 5-1 offense, he averaged 11.9 assists per set and 47.6 assists per match. In OU's win over UHSP on Friday, Le Dortz's 53 assists broke the school record for assists in a four set match. He didn't play much of set no. 2 against Missouri Baptist due to an injury but still finished the match with a double-double in OU's first win in program history over the Spartans on Saturday, 38 assists and 10 digs. Le Dortz averaged 2.25 digs per set and nine digs per match for the week.
The Braves (7-2, 3-0) return to the court on Tuesday, February 17 in Parkville, Mo. against no. 3 Park University. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
