OTTAWA, Kan. – The #11 Ottawa women's wrestling team will compete at the For Her Duals on Sunday in Corralville, Iowa.
Ottawa is coming off a 41-5 win over Saint Mary on Thursday in Wilson Field House.
Aynsley Fink and
Alejandra Mezano both won their dual matches in their respective weight divisions.
Addison Saporito won by technical fall over Eyvori Jacquez in the 117lb weight class.
Aileen Lester secured a pin over Skylur Lewis in the 138lb weight division.
Haley Flores took down his opponent on a fall over Allison King in the 145lb weight class.
Darby Weidl secured a technical fall over Kristal Zamora in the 160lb weight division.
Hannah Jackson and
Dajia Anderson won by forfeit in their matches.
Ottawa moves up to #11 in the latest poll.
Aynsley Fink is ninth in the 103lb weight class.
Sigrun Metzger is 13
th and
Addison Saporito is 16
th in the 117lb weight division.
Aileen Lester is 13
th in the 138lb weight division. In the 160lb weight class,
Darby Weidl is eighth.
Hannah Jackson is fourth overall in the 180lb and
Ciera Hutton-Spieker is 10
th.
Kena Leonard is 15
th in the 207lb weight division.
This will be the first time in program history that Ottawa will be competing at the For Her Duals.
