(RV) Women's Lacrosse To Host Mount Mercy

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team returns home for the first time since February 21 as they host Mount Mercy for conference home opener.
  • The Braves are 0-7 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
  • Ottawa is coming off a 0-26 loss at (1) Benedictine on March 14.
  • Rilee Barnett is Ottawa's leading goalscorer with eleven goals, Brianna Valadao is the Braves assists leader with four.

  • Shaine Grinde leads Mount Mercy in goals with five, Kylie Claeys leads the Mustangs in assists with two.
  • The Mustangs have had two players in goal this season but Gannon Lara played the last game, posting a save percentage of .464 and allowing 15 goals.
  • Ottawa and Mount Mercy have met just once, which Ottawa won 27-5 last season in Cedar Rapids.
