OTTAWA, Kan. – Ottawa University swept the weekly KCAC Women's Flag Football Players of the Week awards. Freshmen
Anna Anderson and
Kaysie Hart earned the honors, helping the Braves capture the program's sixth straight KCAC Championship.
Anderson, a freshman quarterback from Kansas City, Mo. was 27-for-33 through the air for 232 yards and three touchdowns in OU's road victory over no. 4 Kansas Wesleyan University last Saturday. She also scored one rushing touchdown.
Hart, a freshman defensive back from Miami, Fla., had 10 flag pulls and one pass break up in OU's win over no. 4 Kansas Wesleyan University last Saturday.
The Braves are the no. 1 seed in the KCAC Tournament that will be held at AdventHealth Field on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 in Ottawa.
