OTTAWA, Kan. – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2026 All-KCAC Teams on Friday morning, and Ottawa University placed 12 student-athletes on the list, highlighted by three major individual awards.
Anna Anderson was named KCAC Player of the Year,
Jukanie Washington earned KCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, and
Liz Sowers was named KCAC Coach of the Year for the fourth time in her career.
Ottawa had five First Team selections, beginning with freshman receiver
Olga Sotillo. The Spain native leads the Braves with 71 receptions for 837 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 69.8 yards per game and 11.8 yards per catch.
Senior Tatiana Dos Santos also earned First Team honors at receiver. The Panama City, Panama native is tied for second on the team with 64 receptions, totaling 571 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 43.9 yards per game.
Graduate student
Alyssa Linkous was named First Team All-KCAC at center, marking her sixth straight All-KCAC selection. She is tied for second on the team with 64 receptions, totaling 790 yards and 17 touchdowns, while averaging 65.8 yards per game. Linkous also earned KCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors once this season.
On the defensive side,
Dejonice Parris, a graduate student linebacker, earned First Team honors after totaling 75 flag pulls, 12.5 flag pulls for loss, 7.5 sacks, one interception, and nine pass breakups. Parris was a two-time KCAC Defensive Player of the Week selection.
Washington, a senior defensive back, added First Team honors to her Defensive Player of the Year award. She leads Ottawa with 79 flag pulls and has recorded four interceptions and 14 pass breakups.
Anderson also earned Second Team All-KCAC honors at quarterback to go along with her Player of the Year recognition. The freshman from Kansas City, Mo., completed 309-of-406 passes for 3,278 yards and 46 touchdowns, completing 76 percent of her passes and averaging 252.2 yards per game. She also leads the team in rushing with 363 yards on 80 carries, adding 14 rushing touchdowns and averaging 27.9 yards per game on the ground. Anderson was twice named both KCAC and NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.
Marley Spielberg, a junior receiver, earned Second Team honors after totaling 59 receptions for 556 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 42.8 yards per game.
Bethany Uribe, a junior defensive back, was also named Second Team All-KCAC, finishing the season with 27 flag pulls, two interceptions, and three pass breakups.
Ottawa had four players earn Honorable Mention recognition.
Jaida Bayron posted 31 receptions for 353 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 29.4 yards per game.
Mya Quinn added 21 receptions for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively,
Susann Kaufmann recorded 45 flag pulls, 8.5 for loss, 7.5 sacks, and 10 pass breakups.
Kaysie Hart, a freshman defensive back/utility player, finished with 29 flag pulls, six for loss, six sacks, one interception, and three pass breakups while also earning KCAC and NAIA Defensive Player of the Week honors once this season.
The Braves continued their dominance in conference play, capturing their sixth straight KCAC regular season championship with a perfect 10-0 league record. Ottawa enters the KCAC Tournament Semifinals with a record of 13-1.
