Entering her season, Colson is ranked 10^th in the OU record book in career kills (506), ninth in career attack attempts (1,470), eighth in career solo blocks (29), seventh in career block assists (165), and seventh in career blocks (194).

2012: Colson appeared in 122 sets and finished the season with 229 kills and 57 blocks. She earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. Colson had a career high 14 kills against Kansas Wesleyan University (11/3) and a season high five blocks against Bethany College (11/2).

2011: In her sophomore season, Colson played in 111 sets. She had 188 kills in 546 attempts. Colson tallied six assists, 31 digs, 64 block assists and a total of 139 blocks. She had a season high 13 kills versus McPherson College (10/28) and a career high seven blocks versus William Woods University (9/3). She had four games with double digit kills.
 
2010: Colson played in 92 sets and 26 matches as a freshman for the Lady Braves. She had 93 kills, 19 digs, and 67 blocks (13 solo, 54 assisted). Colson had a season high six kills three times, the last being against Sterling College (10/16). She had a season high six blocks versus McPherson College (9/14).
 
High School: Colson lettered two years in volleyball and three letters in softball for Piper High School. She was an All-League selection and earned All-WYCO in 2009.
