2012: Sterling appeared in eight sets and she had a career high 54 assists for the season. She had a career high 37 assists and a season high seven digs against Southwestern Christian College (9/29).
 
2011: In her first collegiate season, Sterling appeared in 90 sets. She had 74 kills, 13 assists, 77 digs, and 23 blocks. Sterling had a career high 12 kills versus Southwestern College (10/15), a career high 23 digs versus Bethany College (9/16), and a career high three blocks four times with the last being against Tabor College (10/10).
 
High School: Sterling earned four letters in volleyball and two in tennis for College Heights Christian School. She participated in the 2010 Senior All-State Tournament. Sterling earned First Team All-District in 2010 and Second Team All-District in 2009. She was named Second Team All-State.
