Fall 2013: In his second fall season as a Brave, Brendemuehl finished with a singles record of 6-3 and a doubles record of 3-4. He played with both Matthew Barlow and Jimmy Brooks in no. 1 singles for the Braves. Brendemuehl competed as the no. 9 seed at the ITA Regional Championships, finishing with a singles record of 2-1. He went 1-1 with partner Brooks.
Spring 2013: Brendemuehl finished the spring season with a singles record of 6-6 and a doubles record of 7-6. He teamed up with Chase Dippel to play no. 1 doubles for the Braves. Brendemuehl earned Second Team All-KCAC honors in his freshman season.
Fall 2012: Brendemuehl finished his first collegiate fall season with a singles record of 4-3. He played no. 1 singles for the Braves. Brendemuehl earned his first collegiate victory in singles over Emporia State University’s Keenan Smith; 6-2, 6-3. Pairing up with doubles partner Chase Dippel to play no. 1 doubles, the pair finished the fall season with a record of 4-3. They won their first match together against Hesston College’s Keenan Jensen and Ryan Hostetler, 8-4.
High School: Brendemuehl was a four year letter winner on the tennis court for Midway High School. He was a 2011 state quarterfinalist. Brendemuehl earned First Team All-District honors in singles and doubles and was named Second Team All-Region in singles and doubles.
