2014: At the Romp on the Ridge hosted by Hutchinson Community College, Borger ran a time of 30:21. He finished with a time of 35:31 at the ESU Invitational.

2013: In his first collegiate race, Borger finished 75^th with a time of 30:01 at the Viking Invitational hosted by Grand View University. At the Haskell Indian Nations University Invite he placed 24^th with a time of 29:09.44. Borger helped the Braves win the Bo Boucek Invitational, finishing 11^th with a time of 30:42. He ran a time of 29:06.83 at the KCAC Cross Country Championships, placing 48^th.

High School: Borger earned letters in track, cross country, and power lifting for Wamego High School. He earned all-state honors the last two seasons. On the track, he competes in the hurdles and the pole vault.

Personal: Son of Jon and Teresa Borger … exercise science major. Borger enjoys power lifting in his spear time. His grandparents and parents attended Ottawa University.
