2013-14: Hatchett appeared in 23 games in his first season in an OU uniform. He averaged 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Hatchett shot 38 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from the free throw line. He scored a season high six points twice with the last being against Bethel College (2/6). He had a season high five rebounds versus Sterling College (1/9), and had a career high two assists against Oklahoma Wesleyan University (1/4).

Labette Community College: Hatchett lettered in basketball for the Cardinals. He appeared in 28 games for LCC, averaging 2.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Hatchett scored a career high 14 points against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (11/11/11), had a career high eight rebounds twice with the last being against Kansas City Kansas Community College (1/28/12), and a tallied a career high two steals twice with the last being against Dodge City Community College (12/6/11).

High School: Hatchett earned four letters in basketball, attending both Bishop Miege High School and Blue Valley Northwest High School. He helped BVNWHS to the Kansas 6A State Championship game in 2010 against Wichita Heights High School.
