Biography

High School: Garcia earned three letters in basketball and four in baseball for Denver South High School. On the basketball court, he helped the Gargoyles to the 2013-14 Colorado State Championship Game and to the 'Sweet 16' in 2012-13. Garcia played in the Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase and he was selected to play in the 2013 Pangos Colorado Camp. He was named to the Academic All-State team, earned Colorado 4A Honorable Mention honors, was named team MVP, and earned Second Team DPS. Garcia's senior season he averaged 10 points, five assists, three steals, and three rebounds per game. He shot 85 percent from the free throw line.
