Outdoor 2015: At the Wildcat Open, Slavens ran a season’s best time of 6:31.17 in the 1500M. She had a time of 3:18.57 in the 800M at the Darrel Gourley Open.
Indoor 2015: Slavens ran a season’s best time of 4:28.54 in the 1000M.
Outdoor 2014: In the 1500M, Slavens ran a season’s best time of 6:38.95 at the Wildcat Open.
Indoor 2014: Slavens ran a personal best time of 7:42.20 in the mile at the KCAC Indoor Championships.
Outdoor 2013: Slavens ran a personal best time of 6:22.55 at the Wildcat Open in the 1500M. She ran a time of 6:30.29 at the Darrel Gourley Open and a time of 6:37.87 at the KCAC Championships in the 1500M.
Indoor 2013: Slavens ran a personal best time of 2:57.80 in the 800M at the Mule Relays. She finished the1000M at the Concordia Classic with a time of 3:55.77.
High School: Slavens was a four year letter winner in cross country, earned four letters in track, one in basketball, and three letters in cheer for West Franklin High School. She earned Academic All-League honors all four years. Slavens competed in the two mile, the mile, the 4x800, and the pole vault.
Personal: Daughter of Jerry and Kelly Slavens ... born August 2, 1993 ... business administration major. Slavens favorite food is tuna noodle casserole and she enjoys watching the television show, “Criminal Minds.”
