2016: In his junior season, Olson played in 46 games and made 21 starts. He had eight hits in 67 at bats for a .119 batting average. Olson scored 24 runs, drove in five runs, had a slugging percentage of .119, walked seven times, was hit by a pitch once, had an on base percentage of .211, and went 3-for-4 in stolen base attempts.
2015: Olson played both varsity and junior varsity in his sophomore season. He made his first appearance at the varsity level against McPherson College (3/20).
2014: Olson played in 29 games with nine starts in his freshman season. He had a .172 batting average with five hits in 29 at bats. Olson scored six runs, had on RBI, finished with a .172 slugging percentage, walked once, hit by a pitch once, had an on base percentage of .226, and finished 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts. Olson made his first appearance in an OU uniform against Midland University (3/1), earned his first collegiate hit versus McPherson College (3/30), and drove in his first run against Kansas Wesleyan University (4/12).
High School: Olson earned one letter on the baseball diamond for Shawnee Mission West High School.
