2017: Smith played in 46 games, making 32 starts as a sophomore. She had a .276 batting average with 27 hits in 98 at bats. Smith scored 12 runs, hit nine doubles, and one home run. She drove in 14 runs, had a .398 slugging percentage, walked 11 times, was hit by a pitch four times, had a .368 on base percentage, and went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.
2016: As a freshman, Smith played in 13 games and made four starts. She went 2-for-20 at the plate for a .100 batting average. Smith hit one double, drove in two runs, had a .150 slugging percentage, walked twice, and had a .182 on base percentage. She started her first collegiate game versus William Wood University (2/19). Smith recorded her first career hit against Midland University (3/12) and hit her first double against Peru State College (3/19).
High School: Smith was a four year letter winner on the softball diamond for Wylie East High School. She was selected to play in the Ronald McDonald All-Star Game and the Stars Over Texas All-Star Game. As a senior, Smith was selected First Team All-District 13-4A, Academic All-district and was named Wylie East’s Most Valuable Player. In 2013, she was selected Second Team All-District 13-4A, was named Academic All-District, and earned the Wylie East Raider Excellence Award. As a freshman, Adams earned Second Team All-District 10-4A, earned Academic All-District, and received the Wylie East High School Offensive Player of the Year Award.
