Biography

2018-19: As a sophomore, Brunson played in 34 games. He played in 20 Tier 1 games and 14 Tier 2 games. Brunson had a 5895 pin total and a 173.382 average. Brunson finished the season with a season high pin total of 1153 and a season high 192.167 average at the Midwest Collegiate Challenge.

2017-18: In his first collegiate season, Brunson played in 50 games. He had a pin total of 8489 and an average of 169.78. He had a season high pin total (1136) and a season high average (189.33) at the Rebel Invitational.

High School: Brunson lettered in bowling, baseball, and football for Clinton High School. In bowling he was a two-time state qualifier in bowling and he finished fourth at Iowa Pepsi State. Brunson twice was named All-District and All-Conference. He was a four-time All-Area selection and earned First Team All-State. On the baseball diamond, Brunson was named First Team All-Area. In football, he was named Second Team All-District and All-Conference. Brunson was also a First Team All-Area selection.
