2018: In his first full year as a starter, Johnson earned First Team All-KCAC honors at linebacker. He had 90 tackles (45 solo/45 assisted), 2.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery. Johnson had a career high 14 tackles twice with the last being against Sterling College.
2017: Johnson played on the OU special teams as a freshman. He finished the year with eight tackles (2 solo, 6 assisted).
High School: Johnson lettered in football and basketball for El Dorado High School. He was an Honorable Mention All-League selection at linebacker and was a member of El Dorado High's National Honor Society. As a senior on the football field, Johnson started all nine games, finishing with 59 tackles (37 UA/22S), eight tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovered for a touchdown. He was named team captain and was a member of the Leadership Council.
