Ottawa University

Fort Hays State University: Carroll played in 28 games as a junior at FHSU. He was seventh on the team in scoring, averaging 5.5 points per game. Carroll averaged 1.8 rebounds per game and was sixth in 3-pt field goals made with 20. He scored in double figures six times, finishing with a season high 17 points (7-for-7) against Avila University.

Allen Community College: Carroll was named Second Team All-KJCCC East Division as a sophomore. He led the team in scoring, averaging 16.4 points per game. Carroll averaged 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He scored 20 or more points in a game 12 times, including back-to-back 30 point games against Independence Community College (31) and Neosho Community College (30). As a freshman, Carroll averaged 10.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

High School: Carroll was a two-time Kansas All-State selection by the Topeka Capital Journal during his prep career at Ottawa High School. He was a three-time Ottawa Herald All-Area selection. Carroll helped the Cyclones to a fourth place finish at the Kansas State Basketball Tournament as a sophomore.
