High School: Pope attended McLouth High School. He lettered in basketball and football at MHS. Pope helped the Bulldogs to a 2018-19 Sub-State Championship and to the Kansas State Boys Basketball Tournament. It was McLouth High School's first trip to state in 70 years. Pope was selected to play in two All-Star Games. He was twice named to the MIT All-Tournament team, was a two-time First Team All-League selection, earned Honorable Mention All-State honors twice.
Personal: Son of Tim and Shelia Pope ... undecided on a major. His cousin Garrison Pope is also a member of the OU men's basketball team
