2020: Hopson moved from tight end to offensive line. He played right tackle for the Braves.
2019: Hopson had one reception for seven yards as a junior. He had two kick off returns for 19 yards, an average of 9.5 yards per return.
2018: Hopson finished his sophomore season with three receptions for 58 yards. He averaged 19.3 yards per reception.
2017: Hopson played on the OU special teams as a freshman. He had two kick returns for 21 yards.
High School: Hopson lettered in football and basketball for Girard High School. He earned First Team All-Conference honors at defensive end as a senior. Hopson was a Second Team All-Area selection and earned Honorable Mention All-State. He helped the Trojans to three District Championships and one regional championship. Hopson helped the GHS basketball team to three straight Kansas State Basketball Tournaments.
