High School: Humes attended Sunrise Mountain High School. She was selected to play in an All-Star Game as a junior and was named to the 3A All-Region Team at running back. Humes was named 3A Player of the Year by the Southern Nevada Flag Football Coaches Association. She scored 54 touchdowns her senior season.
