2024: Garcia played in 49 games, making 44 starts in his first season as a Brave. He had a .277 batting average, scored 21 runs, hit 11 doubles and two home runs, drove in 23 runs, had a .392 slugging percentage, walked 20 times, was hit by a pitch seven times, had a .382 on base percentage, and was 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts.
Vernon College: In 2023, Garcia played in 51 games. He had a .343 (58-169) batting average, scored 46 runs, hit 10 doubles and seven home runs, drove in 40 runs, walked 26 times, had two stolen bases, and finished the season with a .469 on base percentage, and a .527 slugging percentage.
Garden City Community College. As a freshman in 2022, Garcia played in 53 games. He had a .305 (58-190) batting average, scored 40 runs, hit 16 doubles, one triple, and six home runs. Garcia had 41 RBI, walked 17 times, and had a .392 on base percentage, and a .495 slugging percentage. He was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.
High School: Garcia lettered in baseball and was a member of the student council at Saginaw High School. He was selected to play in the 2021 THSBCA All-Star Game. Garcia earned All-District honors in 2019 and was a 2021 District Hitter of the Year, a First Team All-Area selection, and earned First Team All-State honors.
Personal: Son of Marcus Garcia and Stacy Garcia ... business administration major. Garcia played travel ball for NTXBC Dirtbags under coach Patrick Woods. He has a little brother named Drew. Garcia will be the first member of his family to graduate from college.
