2016: Hayworth appeared in 48 games, making 44 starts in his first season in an OU uniform. He had a .288 batting average with 45 hits in 145 at bats. Hayworth scored 11 runs, hit three doubles and two homeruns. He drove in 25 runs, had a .345 slugging percentage, walked 13 times, was hit by a pitch five times, had a .360 an base percentage and went 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts.
Johnson County Community College: In his sophomore season, Hayworth played in nine games, hitting .429 (3-for-7) with two RBI. As a freshman, Hayworth appeared in 16 games. He had a .250 (8-for-32) batting average with five doubles, nine RBI and 20 runs scored. Four of his first five hits on the season were doubles.
High School: Hayworth was a two-year starter on the baseball diamond for Blue Valley High School. He helped the Tigers to a 14-8 record, a region title, and a third place finish at the 2013 Kansas 6A State Baseball Tournament as a senior. In his junior season, Hayworth helped BVHS to a regional championship, and a runner-up finish at the Kansas 5A State Tournament. He also excelled in the classroom and was on the BVHS Honor Roll.
