2016: As a sophomore, Quintana appeared in 50 games and made 45 starts. He had 46 hits in 161 at bats for a .286 batting average. Quintana scored 14 runs, hit one homeruns and 10 doubles. He drove in 26 runs, had a slugging percentage of .366, walked 13 times, was hit by a pitch four times, had a .350 on base percentage, and went 4-for-7 in stolen base attempts.
2015: Quintana played the outfield and pitched in his first year as a Brave. He played in 18 games, making seven starts. Quintana had four hits in 21 at bats for a .190 batting average. He hit two doubles and drove in one run. Quintana finished with a slugging percentage of .286, walked twice and had a .292 on base percentage. On the pitcher’s mound, he appeared in eight games and finished with a record of 2-0. In 8.1 innings, Quintana struck out nine.
High School: Quintana earned four letters in baseball for Douglas County High School. As a senior he was named team captain, earned Second Team All-Continental League honors and was given the Unsung Hero by his coaches. In his juniro season, Quintana was a Honorable Mention All-Continental League selection, and was named Most Improved by his coaches. He was selected to play in the Continental League All-Star Game where he hit a walk-off double to win the game in the bottom of the seventh with two outs.
