2018: Garcia earned Honorable Mention NAIA All-American honors as a sophomore. He was a First Team All-KCAC selection at defensive line. Garcia had 56 tackles (22 solo/34 assisted), eight sacks, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick. He had a career high 10 tackles against Tabor College, including three tackles for loss.

2017: Garcia finished his freshman season with 32 tackles (17 solo, 15 assisted). He had three tackles for loss and one sack. Garcia earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors.

High School: Garcia lettered in football and wrestling at W.B. Ray High School. He was a First Team All-District selection and earned Third Team All-South Texas. Garcia played in the Shrine All-Star Game.
