Biography

Entering his senior season, Hasty is ranked 15th in the OU record book in career assists (202), 11th in career 3-pt field goals attempted (285), 11th in career 3-pt field goals made (100), 25th in single season assists (91), and second in single game assists (12).

2013-14: In an injury filled season Hasty played in 18 games, making 16 starts. He averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. He shot 38.3 percent from the floor, 33.6 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 63 percent from the free throw line. Hasty scored a career high 26 points twice with the last being against Tabor College (2/13) and had a career high 10 field goals made (8) and attempted (21) versus Tabor College (2/13). Hasty had a career high 10 rebounds against Missouri Valley College (11/12), had a career high 12 assists versus Haskell Indian Nations University (11/15), and had a career high four steals against Grace University (10/30). He recorded his first career double-double against McPherson College (2/15) with 17 points and 11 assists. Hasty scored in double figures 14 out of 18 games and had five or more assists in 11 games.

2012-13: In his sophomore season, Hasty appeared in 25 games for the Braves. He averaged 9.8 point and three assists per game. Hasty shot 41 percent from the floor and 36 percent from behind the 3-pt line. He scored a season high 20 points and made a season high eight field goals against Tabor College (1/3), he attempted a season high 15 field goals versus Bethany College (1/31), had a season high six rebounds twice with the last being against McPherson College (12/6), and had a season high eight assists versus Bethel College (2/7). Hasty scored in double figures 12 times, averaging 12 points per game the final three games of the season.  

2011-12: Hasty joined the Braves his freshman season during the second semester. He played in 11 games for OU, averaging 6.8 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game. Hasty shot 34 percent from the floor, 35 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 68 percent from the free throw line. He scored a season high 12 points versus Bethel College (1/28), had a season high three rebounds twice and a tallied a season high five assists three times with the last being against Southwestern College (2/11). Hasty played a season high 31 minutes and attempted a season high 11 field goals versus Southwestern College (2/11).

High School: Hasty was a four year letter winner on the basketball court for Ottawa High School. He helped lead the Cyclones to four straight trips to the Kansas State Basketball Tournament, was a McDonald’s All-American Nominee, and participated in the Kansas High School All-Star Game. Hasty was a four-time all-conference selection and earned all-state honors three times. As a senior he averaged 15 points, eight assists, and four steals per game.
