2019-20: Pope was a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.
High School: Pope lettered in basketball, football, baseball, and track at McLouth High School. He helped lead the Bulldogs to the Kansas State Basketball Tournament for the first time in 50 years. As a senior, Pope was a First Team All-League selection and earned Second Team All-State honors. Pope earned Second Team All-League honors and was an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a junior. He was selected to play in the Highland All-Star Game. Pope scored 1,054 points and was named team captain three times.
Personal: Son of Steve and Tammy Pope ... exercise science major. He played travel ball for the Kansas Cagers under head coach Jason McCoy.
