Biography

2018-19: As a sophomore, Kraus played in 40 games with 19 games being Tier 1 and 21 being Tier 2. He had a 7309 pin total and a 182.725 average. Kraus had a season high pin total of 1204 and a season high 200.667 average at the Bronco Open.

2017-18: Kraus finished his first collegiate season with a pint total of 9259 and an average of 181.54. He had a season high pin total of 1153 at the Mid-States Classic. Kraus had a 198.6 average at the ISBPA Midwest.

High School: Kraus earned four letters in bowling for Wichita Northwest High School. He spent eight years bowling in a league at the West Acres Center under head coach Rick Steelsmith. At Wichita Northwest, Kraus made three appearances at the Kansas State Bowling Tournament, placing first in 2014 and second in 2015 and 2016 and place first at regionals in 2014. He was named Second Team All-State as a junior and qualified for National Junior Gold competition three out of the last four years. Kraus won the Redskin Tournament in 2014. He had a high city league average his junior year of 231. Kraus bowled his first sanctioned 800 series and 300 game at the age of 14. He has had three sanctioned 300 games.
