2014: Spinks finished the Romp on the Ridge hosted by Hutchinson Community College with a time of 33:52. He had a time of 37:00 at the ESU Invitational. Spinks ran a time of 33:33 at the Haskell Indian Nations Invitational. He finished the Bethel Invitational with a time of 33:36. At the Mid States Classic hosted by Southwestern College, he ran a time of 34:26. At the KCAC Championships, Spinks finished the race with a time of 33:55.5.

High School: Spinks earned four letters in track and cross country for Lyndon High School. He earned one letter in Forensics. Spinks was a two-time All-League selection. On the track he competes in the 800M, the 4x800M, the mile, the two mile, and the javelin.

Personal: Son of Clayton and Penny Spinks ... accounting major. Spinks enjoys playing video games, and his favorite food is anything pasta.
