LINDSBORG, Kan. – The (17) Ottawa University baseball team took the final two games of the series against Bethany College on Saturday afternoon. OU won game one, 11-4, and game two 7-2.
Game One
The Braves struck first, taking the early lead in the top of the first inning. Back to back walks by 
Jonah Weisner and 
Tyler Farnham gave OU runners at first and second. 
Holland Boan singled down the left field line, scoring Weisner to give Ottawa a 1-0 lead.
Tyler Farnham increased the OU lead when he scored on a passed ball, on ball four to 
Connor Jeffers and the Braves had a 2-0 lead. 
Carson Johnson hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Boan and Ottawa led 3-0.
Ottawa earned those two runs back plus one more in the top of the third. Boan led off the inning with his 20
th home run of the season, giving OU a 4-2 lead. Walks by

Carson Johnson, and 
Luis DeLeon loaded the bases for OU. 
Logan Zozaya hit a sacrifice fly to center, scoring Jeffers and Ottawa led 5-2.
Zachary Spradlin loaded the bases once more for the Braves, reaching first after behind hit by a pitch. Weisner scored Johnson with an infield singled and the Braves had a 6-2 lead.
In the bottom of the fifth, Bethany cut into OU's lead with two runs, 6-4. Ottawa answered in the top of the sixth. Jeffers hit his ninth home run of the season, scoring Boan to give the Braves an 8-4 lead.
Ottawa scored three more runs in the top of the eighth. Weisner hit a two out double, scoring one and Ottawa led 9-4. Farnham's single to right scored both Weisner and Spradlin and Ottawa took the lead and the game, 11-4.

Game Two
Bethany took a 1-0 lead over the Braves with a run in the bottom of the first inning. OU tied the game in the top of the third inning. 
Jonah Weisner singled to right, scoring 
Luis DeLeon to tie the game, 1-1.
The Swedes retook the lead in the bottom of the third, 2-1. Ottawa answered in the top of the fourth. 
Carson Johnson singled to left and then scored on a double to left-center by DeLeon, 2-2.
Ottawa took its first lead in the top of the sixth inning. Johnson started the inning with a double down the right field line. DeLeon walked, giving OU runners on first and second. 
Zachary Spradlin walked, loading the bases. Ottawa took the lead on a single to center by Weisner. That hit scored two and Ottawa had a 4-2 lead. 
Tyler Farnham tripled to right, scoring Weisner, giving OU a 5-2 lead.
The Braves scored two runs in the top of the seventh on a 
Logan Zozaya triple to left-center, and Ottawa took the 7-2 victory.
