The first ever meeting between the two teams happened on Nov. 20, 1979 in Wilson Field House. OU won the game 45-39.
Tabor swept the season series last year, defeating OU 83-65 in Wilson Field House on Nov. 20, 2024 and winning 70-62 in Tabor Gymnasium on Jan. 11, 2025. Tabor College is 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the KCAC. The Bluejays enter Wednesday night's game coming off a 78-46 victory over KCAC opponent, Oklahoma Wesleyan University last Saturday in Hillsboro. The Bluejays held the Eagles to four points in the second quarter to expand its eight point, first quarter, lead to 47-14 at the half. Tayton Smith had a double-double, scoring 12 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. Lillie Veer finished the night with 18 points and Anna Lambert came off the bench to finish with 10 points.
The Bluejays are a better scoring team at home this season, averaging 66 points per game and shooting 46.3 percent from the floor and 32.7 percent from behind the 3-pt line. On the road they are scoring 53.7 points per game and shooting 35.1 percent from the floor and 20.5 percent from behind the 3-pt line. Tabor is 3-0 in Tabor Gymnasium this season.
